Auto Tune for Power Commander V
“Auto Tune” kits are available that include Wide Band O2 sensors and
control boxes. It will plug directly into the PCV and allow automatic fuel
adjustments. Auto Tune can make a map for each gear it can map each
cylinder separately for each gear if needed. (basic settings would make one
map for all gears) “Warm Up” fuel adjustment (unit reads engine temp
and allows fuel/timing adjustments based on it) Each map cell is
individually adjustable so you can specify an exact AFR value for each area
if needed. This allows the tuner/user to select specific AFR targets for
idle, cruise, and large throttle opening areas. By doing this you can
automatically tune the cruise area for best fuel economy while at the same
time achieve maximum power at wide open throttle.
If Dyno Jet does not have the exact map for your combination of parts you
simply need to choose the closest one and let the Auto Tune kit do the rest.
(if you have an very heavily modified engine and/or short drag pipes
verifying your settings on a dynamometer is recommended).

An “Add-On”
Power Commander Ignition Module
for Power Commander USB’s,
are available NOW. These modules will plug directly into the PCIIIUSB’s expansion port
and the bike’s ignition coils. Dynojet Ignition Modules use the latest in “direct coil driver
technology.” Both advancing and retarding of the ignition timing at specific
throttle postion and rpm combination will be possible. In “Advanced Mode,”
the tuner will be able to set the timing for each cylinder individually.
When tuned correctly, the Ignition module has potential to make excellent HP
Gains Through out the RPM Range. The Ignition
Module will Also allow the User to increase his Rev. Limiter of the Bike,
Enabling them to Tap the Most power
possible from the engine.
(Note, this does require a signed waiver form) The Power Commander Ignition Module will be available for popular sport bike models.
This does not apply to Harley Davidson model Power Commander USB’s, as they
include ignition timing adjustment ability as part of the base unit..
The Dynojet Ignition Module is an “add on” accessory for
select Power Commander III USB. It allows you to control and adjust the
ignition timing of your motorcycles’ engine.
The Dynojet Ignition Module is connected to the PCIII USB with it’s built in
expansion port link and communicates via a CAN interface. As in the case of
the Power Commander, the Dynojet Ignition Module uses OEM style connectors
to plug in-line of the stock ignition harness so no cutting or splicing is
required.
The Dynojet Ignition Module uses “direct coil driver technology” and allows
a high degree of timing adjustment. In the Power commander Control Center
Software the user is able to advance or retard the ignition curve up to 10
degrees based on throttle position and RPM. It is also possible to alter the
timing for each cylinder individually if necessary.
The Ignition Module comes
standard with no adjustments made in the map for the timing table. Due to
different states of tune, fuel quality, and engine modifications we found it
is best to leave the ignition timing stock for safety reasons.
On motorcycles that have eight injectors and were not previously able to
benefit from the use of the Dynojet Quick Shifter, the Ignition Module now
allows this functionality. The Dynojet Quick Shifter is connected to the

1) Dyno Jet PC
V & Autotune
First parts Installed PCV This was a
Must. It's a straight forward install. Just 2
plugs, Ground and TPS Tap. The PC had to be slide Back on the ECU,
because of the Seat.This way when you want to plug in the USB Cable to re-map
or Adjust the settings, you can just pull it out from under the seat for easy access.The PCV Allows you to remap
the Fuel Injection as well as turn on Fuel pumpaccelerator, to get rid of the Abrupt On/Off Throttle hick-up.
AUTO Tune Allows the PCV to self mapping.
Just plug it into the PCV unit, and install the Wide band sensor on your
exhaust. A few settings and your PCV will map itself when you go out
riding.

So, what we found out was.... we were able to SAVE 10lbs 4 oz off our bike by
swaping out the wheels to BST. Making the BST almost 40% Lighter then stock.
And the icing, we saved an ADDITIONAL 2lbs 3oz just on the tires alone.

Michelin Power Pure 21 lbs 4 oz
Weight Savings just from the tires = 2 lbs 3oz .. which because of the distance
from your axle, mathematically is like knocking off 8 lbs from your rotors....
NICE.
TOTAL Weight savings 12lbs 7 oz.
And this is UNSPRUNG MASS.
Mathmatical rule of thumb is every 1 oz. you save on a 17" wheel at 100mph =
25lbs
So, we saved 199 oz. x 25 = 4975 lbs of inertia at 100mph.

3) BREMBO HP Billet Alum.
Calipers (nickel finish)
Ok, now some Serious Stopping Power.
Brembo BILLET HP Calipers. Since our bike is Silver we opt. for the NICKEL
Plated version. Little extra bling.
This is a HUGE Improvement over the Stock Cast calipers... as the Billet ones
are Much more Rigid, so you get less flex, and MORE Power goes into Squeezing
the rotors.
The Stock Brakes are good. But these Calipers, make the Stock Brakes
OUTSTANDING. And Great Eye Candy is the icing on the cake. >> BREMBO <<
4) Ohlins
TTX Shock w/ optional Adjustment knob Ohlins TTX shock was installed.
Having a customer Setup shock for rider weight and style of riding (Track,
Street...etc..) is very nice upgrade.
Normally when you increase a shocks compression it also effects the rebound, and
vise versa.
Ohlins TTX Shock design has separate circuits for rebound and compression which
is a huge upgrade. This completely isolates the adjustments from having a effect
on each other. Plus, it virtually eliminates cavatation on the back side of the
piston.
The TTX comes in at 5 lbs 10oz which is only 5oz more then the super lite stock
shock. So that's not much of a downside.
Another PLUS SIDE is the Ohlins TTX has a integrated spring preload adjuster.
No more busted knuckles using spanner wrenches.
We installed the optional Adjustment knob, So you can just turn it to compress
the spring and get more preload... when you decide to add gear, or take a
passenger for a ride.. or if you just want it a little stiffer.
The instal took about 15min. Not to bad.
As expected, the fit, was OEM.
No Mod, or moving of any stock parts. Very nice fit.

5) Fender Eliminator
Kit (LTD)
Today, we got the Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit installed.
Yea, it's not a super hop up part. But, you know what... we knocked off 1
lb 8 oz getting rid of that FUBAR stock Rear Fender, and now the back of the
bike looks great. Our First reaction when we opened the box was..
"Wow, there not a lot in this kit"
BUT, after installing it.... to be honest, it's one of the nicest kits we have
seen on a bike. It' just looks PERFECT. Fit and Finish was top notch.
And it works great as well. Easy to install. Took about 15-20 min.
Nice LED Tag Light, keeps it legal in most states. And Pretty Bright Turn
Signals, too hopefully keep the cars Aware of your intentions.
No issues or warning lights either. BIG PLUS.
Yea, there may be slightly cheaper FE Kits out there.
But, we weren't going for the cheapest, we wanted the nicest cleanest looking
kit, that did this $17k bike justice. 1B1000LTD Price:$150.95

6) CRG Folding Levers Most of us can agree the stock levers suck. I mean, you cannot
even adjust the brake lever even if you wanted to..
So, we had to upgrade the levers. We went with the CRG
Roll-a-Click levers.
And we prefer the FOLDING upgrade. Once again... just incase the bike falls over
less chance you snap your lever off, and have to call the town truck.
The Folding levers have a great detent action, so they lock right back into
place if they do get folded up.
CRG has be doing this for a long long time. And while their are many clones, and
copies out there, None seem to the same level of quality and craftsmanship as
the CRG.
In our 11 years of doing this.. CRG has some of the best quality and
craftsmanship parts out there.
Super High Quality anodizing finish, SS Roller bearings, all billet alum. parts.
Some of these features are not always found on the competition. We have seen
other brands bearings rusting out after a while, or the anodizing finish fading,
and even levers sometime failing all together.
For that reason.... and liabiilty, we just stick with the CRG Levers.
And if your in the mood for some flash or bling, they also offer the full color
spectrum as well.
Install was quick and easy. About 3-4 min per lever. Perfect fit, no issues.
Now we have the piece of mind of fold-away levers, and the adjustability of one
finger roll-a-click action. TWO BIG PLUS.

Yoshimura Slip-on & Comp. Werkes Slip-on
In keeping with some more selection of exhausts, we grabbed a Yoshimura R-55
LE Slip-on & Comp. Werkes Slip-on today, and tried it on for size.
This slip-ons were Excellent quality, great looks, perfect fit.
It came in at nearly same weight as stock canister.
As with all slip-ons, install took about 4-5 min. Straight forward and easy.
A really nice feature of the Yoshimura of course if the top quality Carbon Fiber
end cap, and Carbon Heat Shield. It adds a nice flair and style to the bike.

True H.I.D. Xenon Light Kit
(6500k pure white)
Today we finally got around to installing some TRUE H.I.D. XENON Bulbs on
our Project bike.
Many Forum Members have done the same. And there is lots of detailed photos
available on the forum.
Not all kits are exactly the same, so we will at least show a few good shots to
explain our install.
This Mod was way over due and should have been done weeks ago.
The New Light looks great, and at night, it's much brighter = Much Safer.
Kinda of a NO BRAINER.

Autozone ($3.95).
It makes a nicer look.
The brand we went with is Extreme Accessories True H.I.D. Xenon Pure White Kits.
The quality, Fit, finish, and look was outstanding.

Rear Sets
(Std. or GP Shift in the same kit)
We all have been using GP Shift for the past 15 years. Once you start racing,
and go GP Shift, you never want to go back to standard.
So, we have been going nuts using the stock foot controls. Finally
we got our hands on the much sought after ATTACK Rear Sets.
In true Attack Fashion, these rear set drip with innovative design.
As other members on here have reported, the fit, finish and quality is top notch
Outstand machine work through out. Very nice Carbon Heal Guards on BOTH Sides.
They of course have a bracket for the STOCK Exhaust/slip-on.
But, if you go with an aftermarket Full System, the bracket is easily removed.
Sweet Design.
The ATTACK Rear sets are Fully adjustable for a boat load of optional setups.
And BEST OF ALL….. The same kit will do GP Shift, or Standard Shift. See below
for detailed photos.
Normally the first thing we do is measure our stock rearsets to have a baseline.
Stock pegs were 17” off the ground. Brake Lever was 14” and Shift was 13.5”
This of course was while on our Vortex Rear Race Stand. But, since They
came pre-assembled in stock config. Install was a snap.
We didn’t even have to use the instructions, it was soo easy. But, after
looking them over, Attack really took some time to write them up. They even
provide Recommended Torque for just about every bolt involved in the install.
And of course… ALWAYS use Locktite blue, on any bolt you install or remove, or
adjust.
Nothing worse then a bolt vibrating loose on your foot controls.
TOTAL INSTALL took all of 10 minutes, (with no directions)
The only thing we did differently was we retained the STOCK Brake Lever return
spring.
The Spring and Spring bracket can be transferred from one kit to another. This
made the Brake lever have a nice Positive Return, with no slop. That’s the way
we like it. No Slop. After a quick test ride, we did some
minor tweaking of the rear sets large array of adjustability to fit our needs.
Overal they felt great. Positive engagement with the shifter, and of course the
BMW Shift assist worked flawlessly.
The Toe piece are collapsible with spring return. And the Toe Piece
Brackets on Both sides even Slide forward and back for riders with Big long
Feet, or Small Little feet. There are hundreds of configurations you
could do with these rear sets. So they should work for just about anyone.
The Attack Rear Sets are offered in BLACK Anodized and GOLD Anodized.
We will only be stocking the BLACK, since that seems to be the only color anyone
wants.

10) OHLINS Stock Mtn.
Damper
The stock works. But, not very well. As most anyone who has used
an Aftermarket Damper can tell you.. it's not that good.
The Ohlins damper is a huge Upgrade over stock unit.
It's Fully Adjustable, and has a Built in mechanical Reservoir to keep oil
pressure consistent, through temperature changes.
INSTALL is quick and easy. 5-10 min.

12) Brembo RCS19
& Optional Remote Adjuster
We decided to swap out the Nissan MC with a BREMBO RCS19.
This Brembo Master Cylinder allows you to switch between 19x18 or 19x20...
giving you more option for what feels right for you.
In addition you also get a Folding Lever (just in case).
The difference was incredible.
Yea, we already have the Billet Brembo Caliper upgrade, but combine those with
this Master cylinder is a huge improvement over what are really good brakes to
start with. It seems to be honest, the BEST Part of the OEM Brake
System. (besides the ABS).... is the ROTORS. The Stock Rotors are SICK.
The Steal material they use on the Rotors is outstanding, and because they fully
float, you get perfect alignment with the calipers, almost no drag on the wheel,

The Stock Rotors do not like abuse.
Many S1000RR owners complain of overheating brakes, and warped rotors.
The Galfer Wave rotors are a solution to that problem. The Wave design
dissipates heat, and adds to the cooling effect of the rotors.
Add to that the Wave rotors have a Carrier, which allows them to take much
more abuse, with no issues.

The revolutionary aspect of the Brembo RCS19 Brake Mastercylinder is the ability
to choose between the 19x18 and 19x20 configuration. If you have read about Brembo Master Cylinders, you will know what these numbers mean and that there is a trade-off

Brembo HP
floating rotors were developed specifically to provide owners of
Japanese Sportbikes (HONDA, YAMAHA, SUZUKI, KAWASAKI) with the
maximum performance levels on the street and on the track. The
new rotors are available in three diameters and are of greater
thickness than standard rotors. The braking surface features a
series of drilled holes to maximize performance and control when
braking while simultaneously reducing rotating mass with
consequent advantages in terms of machine handling. The braking
surface is connected to the carrier, which is machined from
solid aluminum and is the product of a comprehensive FEM

and stiffness, utilizing technology derived
