Unlike Many of the other companies, Anti-Gravity does NOT use the Cheap Chinese Lifepo4 cells.
Instead they use only top of the line A123 Systems Power Cells. A123 Systems is the same battery manufacture used by Ford, GM, Toyota and Tesla in their Hybrid projects.

AntiGravity Superlight Lithium batteries are about one-fifth the weight of a sealed lead/acid battery. The typical weight savings upon installing an Antigravity Battery in a 1000cc-1400cc motorcycles is from 7-10 pounds. They offer much higher cranking amps than comparable sized Prizmatic Lithium or Lead/Acid Batteries. Higher cranking amps allow the motor to turn over quicker for better starting. AntiGravity Superlight Lithium batteries are extremely compact which leaves plenty of room for installing items like Power Commanders, or relocating the battery to another area of the vehicle. But even more important is the lightweight allows for better handling in motorcycles due the loss of so much weight carried high in the frame. The reduction of this high center-of-gravity weight allows the bike to transition faster and easier from side to side as well as dropping the overall weight of the bike.
Above is the Antigravity 4600 next to the Yuasa that comes stock in many Ducati’s. As you can see AntiGravity Superlight Lithium battery is significantly smaller and lighter yet has higher cranking amps.
It would cost thousands of dollars to lose 7 to 10 pounds of weight using Carbon Fiber… So if you are after weight loss, compact size, and better handling this is a great modification. You will be stunned by the compact size and weight in comparison to your stock battery.
