Super Rigid Construction Delivering Optimum Glide
The construction of the new BIC SUP TRACER has received particular
attention, to create light weight, super stiff boards delivering optimum
glide while retaining high resistance to knocks and bumps. Finish
has been optimized on the deck and hull.Core:
Low density (15kg/m3) EPS foam
Layers:
1-Hybrid weave of Innegra and 152gr/m2 Carbon fiber along the whole
length of the board. The white Innegra fibre provides added resistance
to knocks/bumps while the Carbon gives the boards superior rigidity.
2-The whole structure is then wrapped in 180gr/m2 fiberglass.
Result is a high quality finish that is also extra-resistant to small
knocks and scratches.
3-An additional fiberglass reinforcement is added on the concave section
of the deck. This helps to prevent any risk of collapse under the feet.
4-The board is also layered with a transparent Epoxy UV-Filter resin and
the finish is completed by an all over coating of transparent
polyurethane varnish containing a UV Filter. It protects the decoration
and logos.

Deck: High Gloss get coat finish
Hull: Matt finish for maximum glide.
